Security: Dothan Police Department (no outside assistance needed).
This will be an inside event and exhibits open at 5:00pm. Activities include Grand Entry in traditional dress and a nationally renowned drum team, two competitive dance divisions, social dancing, gourd dancing, stomp dancing, historical exhibits, story telling and the tremendous opportunity to meet Alabama\'s American Indian People. Special guest appearances by Marcia Johnston of Buffalo Woman Flute Music, Muscogee Creek Nation Oklahoma Stomp Dancers (Saundra, Speedy & Little Hawk), Ms. Indian Alabama and more.
Two competitive dance divisions are Men's Fancy and Women's Fancy Shawl. $200.00 1st place, $100.00 2nd place (each division). All other divisions are non-competitive. ALL dancers welcome.
Admission $10.00(spectators), All dancers enter FREE, Children 5 & under enter FREE.
