Heritage Festival
The second annual Heritage Festival in downtown Fort Smith. Events include a
powwow hosted by the Natchez Nation, live cowboy "shoot outs," barbeque meals,
tours of the Fort Smith Museum of History and living history events at the Fort
Smith National Historic Site. This fund raiser is organized by the non-profit
group, Community Services Clearinghouse. All events are free to the public.
There will be charges for food and vendors will be in operation. Proceeds are
used in the Meals For Kids program, which provides weekend food for low income
children in local public schools. We welcome visitors, vendors and sponsors.
