Austin Powwow and American Indian Heritage Festival
Renown powwow in its 18th year. Great headstaff
and drums, several hundred dancers, Indian Market of ~200 native artists,
indigenous food, heritage stage of storytellers, musicians. Sheltered arena with
polished floor, great facilities for dancers and artists. Dancers and artists
honored with food and hospitality area. Held at Toney Burger Center 3200 Jones
Rd. Sunset Valley, TX, in the Greater Austin TX area just off Hwy 290 W.

Red River Intertribal Club 3rd Benefit Powwow
Free admission and open to the public is this authentic and traditional native
american cultural event to be held in Wichita Falls, Texas at the Texas National
Guard Armory, 3701 Armory Road, 76302.
Schedule of activities:
2-5PM Gourd Dancing
5-6PM Supper Break
6-7PM Gourd Dancing
7PM Grand Entry

Powwow to benefit a local charity. Bring your lawn chairs, and as always NO
