2nd Annual F.I.H.A. Homecoming Powwow & Family Gathering (FIHA Fall Dance)
Participants and spectators are treated to
intertribal dancing on Friday & Saturday evening and Saturday afternoon, a
crafts competition, tipi and re-enactment villages, tipi competition with cash
prize, educational seminars and Native American music & cuisine. Over 25 vendors
from all over the country will be selling and trading everything from beads and
leather goods to herbs, pottery and Native American regalia.

Silverhawk Native American Flute Gathering
Withlacoochee River Park:Opens 9:00 am Saturday.
Opening ceremony at
10:00 am. Closes 5:00 pm Sunday. Park entry fee: $5.00 per car. Park
fee for camping and electric on the grounds. Vendors, crafts, jewelry,
Native American style flutes, blankets, Painted Ponies, Native American
food, ice cream, kettle corn, beef jerky, Native American leather
clothing, etc. Nonstop entertainment all weekend (flute players, story
tellers, singers, singing bowls, didge players, etc.). Authentic Creek
Indian village in the woods, 1800s settlement, trails thru the woods
along the river, Saturday evening "Friendship Fire" (flute playing,
druming, singing, story telling, fellowshipping), "American Indian
Christian Circle" Sunday at closing. A grassroots gathering in the
country. Motels 15 min away in Dade City. A family event, No Drugs or
Alcohol allowed! Come join us for a wonderful weekend. I have been told
this is one of the friendliest events around. "Public welcome"
