New Wild Horse Pass Casino & Hotel The Gila River Indian Community had a formal groundbreaking ceremony for their new $200 Wild Horse Pass Casino & Hotel to be located at the northwest corner of Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Interstate 10.

Construction will begin in December with a grand opening planned for May 2009. The existing Wild Horse Pass Casino is a mile to the southwest and will be closed when the new casino is opened.
The new Wild Horse Pass Casino & Resort will feature:

  • 100,000-square-foot casino floor
  • 10-story hotel with 241 guestrooms, ballroom, pool, spa and health club
  • 1,200-seat entertainment center
  • 7 major restaurants, a food court, and lounges
  • Nightclub
  • Covered parking structure
