June 14, 2009 The Gila River Indian Community plan to open their new Wild Horse Pass Casino Resort in November to coincide with the first anniversary of their newly-opened Lone Butte Casino at nearby Kyrene and 202 freeway. The Wild Horse Pass Casino Resort will feature 100,000 square feet of gaming, 6 new dining venues including Don Shula’s American Steakhouse, and a 10-story, 241-room luxury hotel. The casino will include 1,002 slot machines, 44 black jack tables, and 25 poker tables. The hotel features a 1,500-seat entertainment venue, conference facilities, pool, health club, retail shops, lounge, and covered parking. In addition to the steakhouse, the restaurants include Ling & Louie’s Asian Grill, Tamales Southwest cuisine, Fatburger, Famous Famiglia, and Café 247. The new Wild Horse Pass Casino Resort is located just off the I-10 freeway near Chandler and will replace the current casino of the same name that was built in 1997. Return to Arizona Casinos. |
