September 28, 2009 PHOENIX - The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community have confirmed their Talking Stick Resort will open in early 2010. "Talking Stick will be high quality, four-star in nature, where the strategy will be that lodging, dining, gambling and entertainment all play into the same game," said Diane Enos, the tribal president. "We've always run a top-notch operation and this will be another exciting opportunity to showcase what we do well." ![]() Here is a summary of highlights at the Talking Stick Resort: CASINO The casino features more than 900 casino slot machines, more than 50 poker tables, 50 blackjack tables, a keno lounge. Talking Stick Resort will be home to the annual Arizona State Poker Championship. HOTEL The 15-story hotel will offer 500 deluxe rooms and 12 luxury suites. There will be a business center, rental cars, three retail outlets, and a 13,000-square-foot luxury rejuvenation spa. RESTAURANTS Several restaurants will serve a variety of cuisines from upscale dining to a seafood bar to a multi-station international buffet. ENTERTAINMENT Venues include 10 lounges and a 750-seat showroom. CONFERENCE CENTER The Conference Center has more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, 24 meeting rooms, a 25,000-square-foot grand ballroom, and a 10,000-square-foot showroom. GOLF COURSE Includes multiple championship golf course options. GARAGES Two garages will offer surface and valet parking. Shuttle and limo service will be available. Return to Arizona Casinos. |
