The naming rights for the US Airways Center have been bought by a Native
The arena will change its name to the is the Talking Stick Resort Arena. It is
currently the home to the Phoenix Suns. By the start of the 2015 season, it is
expected for the name change to be completed.
The Talking Stick Resort is operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian
Community. The tribe is located near Scottsdale.
Due to the new naming rights, both Phoenix area sport arenas will be named after
casinos. The home to the Arizona Coyotes will now be called the Gila River
Arena. After the Gila River Casinos.
