COLMA, CA - The Lucky Chances Casino in Colma, California is the
largest non-Indian casino in Northern California. The casino opened in June 1998
and has operated 43 gaming tables since 2000. During that time the popularity of
Texas Hold Em has grown dramatically, so the casino petitioned the city council
to approve more poker tables.
Last week Colma’s Town Council approved the Lucky Chance’s request to add seven
more tables if the casino adds more parking. To comply the casino will convert
an employee parking lot with 162 spaces into public parking and move the
employee parking into its 3-story parking structure using most of the valet
spaces. The new gaming tables are expected a few weeks later.
