Rohnert Park's Graton Resort & Casino is preparing to open on November 5th. When
completed, the casino will be 340,000 square feet at a cost of $820 million to
build.
The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria are the owners of the casino. Station
Casinos are the operating company. The company is based out of Las Vegas, NV.
There will be 144 gaming tables in operation. This includes baccarat, blackjack,
and poker. There is also a separate non smoking poker room with 18 tables. In
addition there will be 3,000 video gaming machines. High limit slot machines
will also be available.
Dining options include a food court located near the main casino area. In the
food court will be nine different quick service options with seating for 500.
There will also be four full service dinning restaurants. This includes the 630
Steak House. Access to the restaurants can either be reached from outside or
inside the casino.
In the center of the resort is a diamond shaped bar named Sky Bar. The focal
point is a 24 foot tall tower made from marble. It will be backlit in purple and
be surrounded by a bar with casual seating.
There will be ample parking with 5,700 parking spots. As well as a parking
garage that is 5 levels.
The casino will operate 24 hours daily.
Currently 1,400 new jobs have been created for this project. An additional 600
people are planned to be hired soon.
