Slot Revenue declined in Dec at Foxwoods Resort Casino

Foxwoods Resort Casino today reported that its slot revenue for December 2012
declined 12.1 percent to $44.2 million compared the same month the year before.
Handle for the month was $548.5 million, a drop of 9.0 percent from the $616.1
million in December 2011.
The Casino contributed $11.6 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund
last month, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut
since Foxwoods opened in 1992 to $3.44 billion.
The Resort's upcoming entertainment schedule includes music by Dwight Yoakam;
Credence Clearwater Revisited; Love, Heart and Soul; Trey Songz; and Edie Izzard
appearing at the MGM Grand Theater. In Fox Theater, comic Margaret Cho headlines
on February 1. Over the next month Comix at Foxwoods features the Boston Irish
Comix, Gary Valentine, and Hypnotic Hysteria from Jim Spinnato as well as Mike
Hanley, Bob Marley, Dan Band, and Christina Pazsitzky. "Victory: An Exhibition
