Seminoles silently add 104 gaming tables in TampaNovember 14, 2008TAMPA – The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa quietly began new table games this week. One hundred and four tables were set up to play Blackjack, Baccarat, Mini Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride & Three Card Poker. Florida’s Supreme Court has invalidated the gaming compact signed by the Seminoles and Gov. Crist, however, Seminole lawyers say the federal publication of the contract overrides the state's jurisdiction, and the tribe will continue to expand gaming unless told otherwise by Washington. The Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek is rumored to be the next casino to add table games. It is anticipated this will happen before New Year's Day. Return to Florida Casinos. |
