New Jumer's Casino & Hotel opens in rock IslandDecember 1, 2008QUAD CITIES – The new $151 million Jumer’s Casino & Hotel opened today in southwest Rock Island. It is something the community can be proud of. One of the things I like, from an entertainment value, is there are four different kinds of restaurants, a sports bar, a piano bar. You can go out — and even if you are not a big gambler — you can enjoy a live show. It has more of a Las Vegas feel. It’s really going to be a showcase to the Quad-Cities.
