Indian Gaming Industry Report

Casino City has published its latest Indian Gaming Industry Report.  The significant findings in the report include the following:

  • Indian gaming revenues in 2011 were approximately $27.4 billion.
     
  • The growth rate was 3.4% compared to 1.7% in the commercial casino segment.
     
  • Approximately 44% of all U.S. casino gaming revenue in 2011 was generated by Indian gaming.
     
  • California had the highest revenues from Indian gaming  with $6.9 billion.  Oklahoma was a second with $3.5 billion.
     
  • The top five states are California, Oklahoma, Washington, Florida and Connecticut.  These states accounted for 61% of the U.S. Indian casino revenue.
     
  • The top 10 states include Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and New York.  The top ten accounted for 86%  of U.S. Indian casino revenue.
