Resorts East Chicago is rebranded as Ameristar Casino Hotel

EAST CHICAGO, IN - Ameristar Casinos, Inc. announced it has renamed Resorts East as “Ameristar Casino Hotel” and remodeled the casino. The property was purchased last year from Resorts International.

To celebrate the rebranding Ameristar is hosting three free concerts this summer that features Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, and Reba McEntire.

REMODELED CASINO
The remodeled 53,000-square-foot casino features 1,800 slot machines and
76 table games, including a baccarat room and a live poker room.

FOUR RESTAURANTS
Waterfront Grill steakhouse - upscale restaurant Double Down Diner All Sports Café - new decor, a larger bar and 20 plasma screen televisions.
Heritage Buffet - features new menu items and an expanded salad station and dessert bar.
Starbucks - opens later this summer

TWO LOUNGES
VIP Star Club - new
Star Club - refurbished, new food service

HOTEL TOWER
15-story, hotel tower with 290 rooms, 3 junior and 7 super suites (1,000 square feet)

PARKING GARAGE
1,975 parking spaces
