The Biggest Loser' casting call at Indiana Live! Casino

"The Biggest Loser," a reality TV show that challenges contestants to lose
weight and learn about a healthy lifestyle, will conduct a casting call at
Indiana Live! Casino in Shelbyville, Indiana, on Saturday, February 26.
Contestants must be at least 100 pounds overweight to participate in the casting
call, which will be held from 10AM to 6PM. Those participating could earn a spot
on season 12 of "The Biggest Loser" and compete for a top prize of $250,000.
Contestants can try out as individuals or teams of two and need to bring a
non-returnable photo of themselves that will be given to the casting crew, which
will be visiting Indiana for the first time.
"We tell people to come and be yourself. You don't have to wear a costume," said
Barbara Wulff, Casting Director for "The Biggest Loser." "There's a limited time
at the casting table when they come and meet with us, and that's their time to
Past casting calls for "The Biggest Loser" have drawn between 500 and 1,000
people. Wulff said the casting crew will try to make time for everyone, but can
only guarantee they will audition the first 500 people.
"I tell people, ‘It's a long day, so bring water or healthy snacks,'" Wulff
said. "It's a fun day. Every time people come to these things, they meet people
who are having the same struggles as they are, and they make friends."
Contestants must be 21-years-old or older to enter through Indiana Live! Casino
for the casting call. Contestants must be at least 18-years-old to participate
in the casting call. Contestants who are 18-20 years of age must enter the
casting call through Indiana Downs.
