TOPEKA, KS – The Kansas Lottery Commission received six applications from Wyandotte County as the deadline of December 31st passed.

The Lottery Commission will review them and negotiate contracts with each developer within 90 days. They will then forward the contracts to the new seven-member Gaming Facility Review Board which has 60 days to choose one of the contracts.

The Kansas Lottery Commission will own the Wyandotte casino but hire the developer to build and manage its operations.
