Plans are moving forward for the development of a new casino in Kansas. This
will be the fourth state owned casino. Seven years ago, voters approved the
development of a new casino in the state.
Starting in July, applications will begin being accepted by the Kansas Lottery
for investor that are interested in developing the casino. Applications will
begin being accepted on July 14. The end date is December 19.
After all the applications have been submitted, a review board will decide on
the accepted application. The review board will be selected by government
