Greektown To Hire 400 New EmployeesDETROIT - After cutting 89 workers last month as part of its Chapter 11 reorganization, Greektown is now looking to hire as many as 400 employees for its new casino hotel. A Greektown representative said those former employees will be the first in line for the new jobs. He further added the casino intends to hire as many Detroit residents as possible and meet licensing requirements. The Greektown hotel is expected to open in 2009.
