Greektown Casino debuts 600 new slotsAugust 28, 2008DETROIT - As part of its $332 million expansion project Greektown Casino has opened 25,000 square feet of new gaming space with 600 new slot machines. That increases the gaming floor to 100,000 square feet and the number of slot machines to 2,600. Another 400 slots will be added when Pantheon Club renovations are completed in November. The Pantheon Club is moving from the second floor to the ground floor. Greektown completed its $220 million first phase of expansion last November when it opened its attached parking garage. The $332 million second phase is on schedule to open two new lounges and a buffet restaurant by the end of this year and open its 400-room hotel in early 2009. Return to Michigan Casinos. |
