New Seven Clans Red Lake Casino ground breaking

October 14, 2008

Due to be completed by November of next year, the Red Lake Band of Chippewa broke ground on their new casino. Located on the southern border of the reservation, the new facility will replace the current casino that is at the Red Lake Humanities Center.

The new casino gaming floor will have a poker, black jack, and slot machines. Plans also include a hotel, restaurant, and entertainment hall.

When the new casino is completed the current casino will close and become a school and community center for the tribe.
