A New casino in DiamondheadSeptember 19 2008An application was filed with Hancock County by Jacobs Entertainment Inc. The application was to rezone Diamondhead property to waterfront district south of Interstate 10. This will allow for a casino resort and hotel. The proposed property will be a 100,000 square foot building and 40,000 square feet of gaming space. The hotel will have 250 rooms, restaurants, meeting spaces, retail shops, and a venue for entertainment. Currently Jacobs Entertainment Inc is waiting for financing and approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Return to Mississippi Casinos. |
