Proposed Biloxi Road Expansion to Help Casinos and City

A proposal was made on Tuesday to members of the Biloxi city council for road
construction in the eastern part of the city.
The proposal would almost complete Back Bay Boulevard loop. The road would help
casino developers and city earn millions from the casino projects. The
Mississippi Development Authority would spend $5 million on the proposed
Currently the Biloxi Boardwalk has a $200 million casino project in development.
The Margaritaville Casino also has plans for a $50 to $60 million hotel tower.
If the road is approved, the casino will continue with other renovations as
well. Such as new shops and restaurants. There may also be a new water feature.
