The ACH Casino is now called the Atlantic Club. The new name was unveiled on Tuesday
along with the strategy for the business.
The casino is being marketed as a casino for locals. It will be designed to be a
comfortable place for people that are not tourists. A place that area residence
can go regularly for entertainment and at a good value.
An advertising campaign is also underway for the new casino. This will include
billboard signage. The billboards can be seen on the Atlantic City Expressway
and also on the Black Horse Pike. More billboards are scheduled for next week.
Visitors will be allowed to park for free. This will also include free parking
in the summer when area tourism is at its peak. Guests will also be able to
enjoy a variety of games. There will be 1,500 slot machines. 1,000 of those will
be low denomination machines. There will also be 50 tables available for gaming.
Table games will have $5 to $15 limits. Dining options will consist of seven
restaurants. The menus average around $12 to $18 a meal. Comp points can also be
used outside of the casino. The Atlantic Club has partnered with 20 local
businesses that guests can also use their points at.
Realizing that the economic downturn and gaming competition from other states
has affected Atlantic City, the Atlantic Club has plans to offer local residence
value at the casino with hopes to bring more revenues to the city.
