Ground is broken on Cincinnatiís Rock Venture Casino project

Last Friday was the ground breaking ceremony for Rock Ventures casino. The
estimated grand opening will be in 2012.
Penn National gaming and Rock Venture lobbied for four new casinos in 2009. The
Ohio voters agreed on the projects as a way to boost the stateís economy and
help unemployment rates.
It is believed that neighboring stateís receive $181 million from Ohio visiting
gamblers. After the state build itís approved four casinos, it is estimated that
money will stay in Ohio. The four new casinos are a source of tax revenue. As
well as thousands of new jobs.
It will cost $400 million to build the Cincinnati casino. Sometime next year,
the Columbus and Toledo casinos are set to open.
