Horseshoe Casino Cleveland working to Preserve Historic Building
December 19, 2011
The Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland is pushing to be the first casino to open in
the state. Construction crews have been busy working on renovating a historic
building into the new casino. The building was previously a department store and
is 80 years old.
The crew is being monitored by a preservation group that will ensure that the
building will not be damaged. Features of the building, such as the doors and
columns are being carefully preserved. Windows are also being installed to make
the casino more appealing to guests.
Currently there are 600 members of the construction crew that are working 10
hour shifts to get the project completed.
The Horseshoe Casino is estimated to open March of 2012.
