Presque Isle Downs & Casino Report Revenue Increase Last Month

Gross revenue from roulette, poker, and table games have have increased at
Presque Isle Downs & Casino.
A report was released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board showed for
October that the casino earned $1.25 million. That was an increase of 34.6
percent from October of last year. The reported amount for then was $926, 243.
It was also reported that across the state, table games at all casinos in total
were up 4.1 percent from October 2013. That was a reported total of $63.1
Previously, the Erie casino reported revenue from table games were down 26
months straight until July of this year. The casino operates 46 game tables.
The amount betters were wagering has also increased last month. The total was by
3 percent. That was the first time the casino has experienced that since spring
From the 12 Ohio casinos, Presque Isle Downs was listed as the second highest
revenue percentage increase. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs ranked highest at 42.3
percent. Eight of the state's casinos reported increases in revenue.
