WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, OK – The doors at the new Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs finally opened this afternoon, and crowds entered the 200, 000-plus-square-foot gaming area. The new casino replaces the old Cherokee casino which began in West Siloam Springs on April 17, 1993, as a bingo hall. A second phase will demolish the old casino and add a spacious food court and an 8-story, resort-style hotel.
