September 25, 2009

NEWKIRK, OK - A lucky player at the $1 Wheel of Fortune machine won a
$1,151,959 MegaJackpot on September 6th. The winner, who asked to remain
anonymous, said he was visiting the casino for a car drawing and decided to play Wheel of Fortune. After playing only $23, he won the top progressive prize. When asked about his plans for the money, he said he will use his winnings to "retire."

Native Lights Casino is one of several Oklahoma casinos belonging to a 17-state gaming network that includes over 300 tribal casinos nationwide.
The casinos carry one or more IGT progressive games. Every time a coin is played in a linked machine, at any one of the network casinos, the cumulative jackpot grows until someone wins it.

The Native Lights Casino jackpot was the first ever to be paid at the casino, and it is the 59th to be paid in Oklahoma since gaming went on line in September 2006. Altogether, Oklahoma casinos have now paid nearly $29 million in MegaJackpot prize money.
