Sweet Commute for Philly Workers at SugarHouse Casino

To assist Center City Philadelphia workers affected by Regional Rail
interruptions this summer, SugarHouse Casino is launching its Sweet Commute
initiative. Each weekday, starting July 18 and running the rest of the month,
the casino will offer free parking in its new seven-story parking garage and a
free shuttle into the heart of the city.
Shuttles will leave SugarHouse Casino at 7 and 8:15 a.m., Monday—Friday during
the weeks of July 18 and 25. The shuttles will make stops at three locations in
Center City Philadelphia: 11th and Arch Street, Love Park and 20th Street,
between Market Street and JFK Boulevard. After their workday, commuters can
return to the casino for gaming and dining specials and wait out the rush hour
Guests can unwind with a drink or dinner at Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House, the
casino's new high-end steakhouse. Those spending $50 between 5—7 p.m. can
receive $25 off their drink or dining tab if they mention the Sweet Commute
special. Guests can also visit The Marketplace, featuring Tacconelli's Pizzeria,
Geno's Steaks and the Revolution Grill, or they can hit the gaming floor before
Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino said, "If we can help
Philadelphians make commuting easier, and maybe even fun, we're happy to do it!
The all new bigger, better SugarHouse has a food and drink option for everyone."
Guests can use the casino's surface lots, parking garage or valet parking, all
for free, before catching the commuter shuttles to Center City. Eligible guests
taking advantage of the Sweet Commute program can receive a special deal for
enrolling in the Rush Rewards program, including $25 Free Play or Match Play and
$10 Dining Dollars.
