ARLINGTON, WA – The Stillaguamish Indian Tribe will celebrate the grand opening of their expanded casino by end of year. Nearly four times the size of the current casino, the new Angel of the Winds will open December 31st.

The casino averages 800,000 visitors per year, but there has been a recent increase in visitors since announcing the expansion.

Angel of the Winds General Manager Travis O'Neil said, "We've seen a nice increase since we announced the expansion. We have new guests, and some of our current customers are visiting and getting excited for the expansion."

The casino’s motto is "the world's friendliest casino”. O’Neil added, "A casino is a casino. They offer the same machines, tables, restaurants. But the actual place can be special by how you treat people, and that's what we focus on. We are as friendly as we possibly can be."
