Wind River Casino Grand Opening June 5th

RIVERTON, WY – The Wyoming Business Report wrote today "The Northern Arapaho Tribe’s new Wind River Casino will have a grand opening and formal ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 5. The new 45,000-square-foot casino is Wyoming’s largest, and has 25 foot-high ceilings, more than 700 Las Vegas-style gaming machines, a non-smoking area with 80 machines, and an entertainment area with seating for about 400 people.

"... The casino offers summer-long performances of The Northern Arapaho Experience featuring traditional singing, dancing and storytelling exhibitions in an outdoor theatre carpeted with native grasses and accented with multiple tipis and other Tribal symbols. The Northern Arapaho Experience will debut on grand opening day with a performance at 6:30 p.m.

"The grand opening will be hosted by members of the Northern Arapaho Business Council and the Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency. Color guards for the ceremony will be Arthur-Antelope Brown Post No. 84 and Ethete Legion Post No. 86. The Ethete Eagle and Arapaho Eagle are the drum groups."
