YUMA - Alan Silver, a 60-year-old retired lawyer from Nevada, sat down at
a$1 video keno machine at Cocopah Casino last Sunday and recalled "I just had a
feeling!" Within ten seconds of sitting down he won $40,000!
Silver visits the casino about once a month as he travels back and forth to
California to visit his mother.
The last two big winners from non-progressive machines were Yuma residents. One
won a $75,000 jackpot in January and the other won a $41,000 jackpot in April.
