INDIO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Big changes are afoot at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino this summer and they involve the all-important dining choices at the resort/casino.
Fantasy Springs has some changes in store in the spot that currently houses Players Steakhouse. In an effort to add more variety to its array of restaurant options, Fantasy Springs will be closing Players Steakhouse after May 30th. In its place will be "Joy," an authentic Chinese noodle house also with emphasis on Korean BBQ and Vietnamese favorites.
Expected to open this September, the restaurant's kitchen will be built to facilitate the extremely fast pace of Asian cooking. As Players Steakhouse has become a favorite restaurant for locals and visitors alike, diners will soon be able to find its most popular dishes, including signature steaks, at The Bistro.
Guests of Fantasy Springs have been asking for a restaurant serving Asian fare for several years. The Bistro and POM already offered quite similar dishes on their dinner menus to the Players Steakhouse. The resort's management took customers' requests to heart and the result will be "Joy." It will be one of seven dining establishments within Fantasy Springs. The others are The Bistro, Lique, POM, The Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks Café and the Fresh Grill Buffet. All team members of the Players Steakhouse will remain with Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
Fantasy Springs Resort Casino provides an oasis in the desert, featuring 25 "Best of Gaming" awards from Casino Player magazine. Offering 2,000 of the hottest slots, world-class table games, entertainment, hotel, dining and golf at Eagle Falls, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino stands to meet and exceed the needs of its guests and the community. Fantasy Springs is conveniently located right off Interstate 10, only minutes from Palm Springs and the Palm Springs International Airport.
