Joseph G. of Folsom, Calif. was the lucky winner of Red Hawk™ Casino's first Fortune Pai Gow Poker Progressive™ jackpot of $131,707 on Thursday, October 14. Red Hawk Casino has now paid out an impressive $2,675,182 in just eight progressive jackpots since July!
Joseph G. had only been at the casino for a couple hours playing slots and decided to switch things up by moving over to the Pai Gow Poker table. Within a half hour, Joseph was dealt the seven-card straight flush and because he placed a progressive bet, he was in for a big treat, a $131,707 progressive jackpot!
Joseph has been coming to Red Hawk Casino since it opened and said it's his favorite casino because it's so close to home and the employees always treat him great. When asked what he plans to do with his winnings, Joseph said that he hadn't even thought that far ahead yet, but that he definitely planned to gamble some more that day.
Red Hawk Casino added the Fortune Pai Gow Poker Progressive to its casino floor in June. The Fortune Pai Gow Poker Progressive allows players to make a small progressive wager in addition to their standard Pai Gow Poker wager to be eligible to win a progressive jackpot in addition to their odds payouts. The top hand in the game, a seven-card straight flush, pays 8,000 to 1 and 100 percent of the jackpot.
This is just one of eight progressive jackpots to hit at Red Hawk Casino since July.
