One changed music and the other how everyone danced to it. Rock and roll legends Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker will perform in a special 10th Anniversary Concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, in the Pala Events Center.

These San Diego concerts are just the start of Pala Casino Spa & Resort's weekend-long anniversary celebration. The celebration also will include the Pala Championship Bar-B-Que Competition starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2 on the casino's South parking lot, and the $100,000 10th Anniversary Giveaway starting at 10 a.m. throughout the casino on Sunday, April 3.
The Pala Championship Bar-B-Que Competition will offer $7,500 in prize money to Southern California's best barbecue cooks in five categories: chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, brisket and kids hamburgers. With the March 30 $100,000 Grand Prize drawing for its Lucky Dog promotion and the April 3 10th Anniversary Giveaway, Pala will award $200,000 to lucky players in five days.
