A new hotel tower is about to begin construction at Harrah's Rincon Casino and
Resort. Construction is schedule to start on November first. It is estimated to
take 17 months to complete.
Currently the hotel offers 662 guest rooms. After the new tower is added, the
hotel will have an additional 403 rooms.
There are other expansion plans that will also be made on the casino property.
Plans include a new entertainment and convention space of 23,000 square feet, a
Mexican restaurant, and more guest parking.
The pool area will also be expanded with a bar that guests can swim up to.
Guests will also be able to float the soon to be added lazy river.
In total, the additions will cost $150 million to complete.
Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort is owned and operated by the Rincon Band of
Luiseņo Indians. The addition to the property will create 125 permanent jobs in
hospitality. As well as 650 jobs for the construction.
