September reported slot machine gaming was down at state's casinos owned by Native Americans.

$569.6 million in was reported by the Mohegan Sun on Wednesday. September the previous year was reported at $621.5 million. Revenue was also saw a decline. Last month was $50 million less than the previous year. The casino reported $46.5 million for last month.

Slot revenue was also down at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. $445.8 million was reported for last month. $508.1 million was reported in September the year before. Revenue from the slot machines was $36 million.

The decline in revenue is believed to be related to the increase in competition from the northeast casinos.
