HOLLYWOOD, FL - Seminole Gaming CEO James Allen announced Friday that blackjack and five other card games will open to the public at 6 p.m. June 22. There will be
68 gaming tables in the main slots area and the high-limit gaming area, and three more a few days later in the Seminole Paradise restaurant-bar area.

NEW TABLES
  • Blackjack - 55 tables
  • Three card poker - 6 tables
  • Let it ride - 3 tables
  • Pai gow poker - 3 tables
  • Baccarat - 2 tables
  • Mini-baccarat - 2 tables

Surveys show 65 percent of card players say blackjack is their favorite game. The blackjack tables at the Hard Rock Casino will have minimum bets of $15 minimum bets during slow periods and $25 or higher during peak hours. Dealers will stick on "soft 17," blackjack will pay 3-to-2 and players can double down on any two cards.

The next Seminole casino to add card games will be the Hard Rock in Tampa.  There is no information yet for the Seminole Hollywood or Seminole Coconut Creek casinos.
