SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (Monday, December 20, 2010) - New Year's Eve will be an unforgettable party at Indiana Live! Casino, where 2011 will be welcomed in with a pulsating celebration that includes fantastic food specials and an unforgettable live entertainment lineup that includes Al Paris, the former lead singer for Kool & The Gang.

"It's going to be spectacular evening," Indiana Live! Casino General Manager Richard Kline said. "New Year's Eve is going to be full of excitement and energy and will be a night to remember. Everybody needs to be here. It's a great way to celebrate and bring in the New Year."

Paris is the lead singer for Party Planet, a high-energy dance band that will perform at Center Bar from 9PM to 2AM. For more exciting entertainment,Terry Lee and the Rockaboogie Band will take the stage inside the casino's NASCAR® Sports Grille from 10PM to 2AM.

Paris was a member of Kool & The Gang, an internationally acclaimed group that has sold more than 70-million albums worldwide, from 1993 to 2000. Family obligations led him to leave Kool & The Gang and later form Party Planet, a cover band that accepts requests for music dating back to the 1960s.

"We want to make sure that everybody at Indiana Live! has a great time," Paris said. "We want people to let their hair down, dance and feel free. That's what we're about."

Paris said Party Planet's performance will be energizing from beginning to end.

"We are a very electrifying band," Paris said. "Everywhere we play, people party and have a good time. We make you feel good."

At midnight, Indiana Live! Casino will welcome in 2011 with a light show and balloon drop. Starting at midnight until 5AM, the Live! Market Buffet will serve a special $4.99 breakfast for those who still want to party.

Live! Market Buffet will serve five-star food selections on New Year's Eve from 11AM to 11PM. Lunch will be served from 11AM to 3PM. A special $19.95 seafood buffet will be served from 4PM to 11PM.

The NASCAR® Sports Grille will serve a $19.99 dinner on December 31 that includes a special New Year's Eve cheesecake for dessert. An appetizer and entrée choices that include grilled halibut, sliced tenderloin of beef or bourbon glazed pork tenderloin are also included in the dinner, which will be served from 4:30PM to midnight.

Indiana Live! Casino's steakhouse, Maker's Mark® Bourbon House & Lounge, will also offer New Year's Eve dining specials, including the restaurant's signature dessert cake, from 5PM to midnight. Additional items offered as New Year's Eve specials at Maker's Mark® Bourbon House & Lounge include filet of dover sole, roasted prime rib of buffalo, an eight-ounce kobe filet, and lobster, wild mushroom, and asparagus tip risotto.

New Year's Eve is always a special time for Kline, who is looking forward to what the future holds.
