A Mississippi casino and hotel is in the process of having a new owner. Churchill Downs, inc has offered to by the casino for $141 million.

The announcement made on Friday by the company in regards to purchasing Vicksburg's Riverwalk Casino and Hotel. However, the purchase is on contingent if the company will be able to to acquire the necessary gaming license.

The Riverwalk Casino and Hotel originally opened in 2008. The gaming floor is 25,000 square feet. The hotel offers 80 guest rooms. There is also dining and an event center.

The sale is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
