The deadline has passed for the proposed Gulfport Harbor casino. The developer, Rotate Black, had until April 17th to secure funding on the $122 million project.

The deadline was already extended from the original date in January of this year.

For the casino project to continue, the developer will need to resubmit all the plans related to the project to the state's Gaming Commission for reconsideration. The process will need to start over again.

Rotate Black was previously given approval by the commission on condition that financing could be secured. The original approval was granted in August of 2012.
