Sports betting is now allowed at New Jersey race tracks and casinos. Governor
Chris Christie approved the directive. The gaming facilities will be able to
operate the sports bets without concern of liability. Either civil or criminal.
It is expected that the decision will be overturned in court by a possible law
suit from the collegiate and professional sport leagues. Previously the groups
sued to uphold the ban on sports bets in the state.
