PRESS RELEASE
January 07, 2011
Today, the Pueblo of Pojoaque, owner of the Buffalo Thunder Casino Resort and
Cities of Gold Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico, announced its retention of
Randall A. Fine and The Fine Point Group as the properties' Chief Executive
Officer and strategic marketing and operations consultant.
"As part of the comprehensive restructuring of our bond obligations, the largest
such restructuring in tribal history, we launched a nationwide search for
leaders that could take our facilities to new heights," said George Rivera,
Governor of the Pueblo of Pojoaque. "We believe that with Randy's
change-oriented leadership, coupled with the intellectual horsepower of the
industry's largest consulting firm, we will be able to dramatically improve our
results in the years ahead."
Today, three executives from The Fine Point Group have assumed executive roles
at Buffalo Thunder. Randy Fine will serve as the property's Chief Executive
Officer; Christopher P. Colwell will serve as Chief Operating Officer; and
Marlene R. Reyes will serve as Chief Marketing Officer. In addition, more than a
dozen professionals from The Fine Point Group will provide comprehensive
consulting services relating to casino operations and relationship marketing,
including the rollout of its proprietary Algorithm-Based SegmentationŽ strategy.
"It is an honor to have been asked by Governor Rivera and the Pueblo of Pojoaque
to help lead Buffalo Thunder and Cities of Gold into the future," Fine said. "We
intend to bring our aggressive, results-oriented style to the facilities
immediately to drive results that will benefit the Pueblo for generations to
come."
