Another developer has dropped their bid for a Catskill casino location.
Foxwoods, the owner of the largest casino in the country, has decided not to
pursue the Catskill location.
The reason is based on the amount of competition of developers interested in
building a casino in Orange County. The Catskill location is further away from
New York City than Orange County.
Foxwoods also stated that finding financing for a Catskill location would be
difficult due to the competition from Orange County.
