Gambling Forum suggests Philadelphia is Casino Saturated

At a recent forum for gaming, suggestions were made about the future of the
state's casinos. The forum consisted of people that work with the industry.
Present were government officials, casino operators, and financial analysts.
Results from the forum had suggestions that the market is heavily saturated in
Philadelphia. Currently the state is working on awarding licenses to two new
casinos. Bidding for the licenses are four organizations. Two of which, are from
the Susquehanna Valley.
Penn Harris Gaming has purposed building a casino near Harrisburg in Hampden
Township, at the Holiday Inn. Mason Dixon Resorts would like to build near
The forum concluded a state moratorium for new casinos.
