Fayette County's Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is constructing a new area. When
completed the resort will offer a special amenity for a charge. Access to the
The Lady Luck Casino will cost $60 million to build. It is scheduled to open in
July of this year. Guests not staying at the hotel will be able to visit the
casino by paying a $10 fee. An annual pass is available for $45.
The entrance fee is based on the casino operating under a category 3 gaming
license. This means that guests not staying at the hotel, or attending an event
on the property can not legally gamble in the casino. The casino is considered
an amenity for hotel visitors. The entrance fee is a way around the rule.
When the Lady Luck opens, it will offer slot machines and 28 game tables.
