Sports Betting comes to Buffalo Thunder Casino

March 11, 2019

Today the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder Casino opened its new Race and Sports Book adding sports wagering to its existing pari-mutuel horse and greyhound race wagering. This is only the second sports book to open in New Mexico since Santa Ana Star Casino opened theirs last October.

Players can bet on both sports and races using the same kiosk or same betting teller.

The sports book opening was well timed. It opened just in time for March Madness, which is the largest wagering event next to the Super Bowl.

Buffalo Thunder Casino has hired a joint venture to run the sports book operation. It includes National Sports Book Management (NSBM) and the South Point Hotel & Casino.
