There is only one federally-recognized tribes in Virginia, the Pamunkey Indian Tribe. The DOJ marijuana policy on tribal reservations applies to this Virginia tribe. The Pamunkey are federally recognized as sovereign by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the U.S. Interior Department.
