The Tule River Tribe is building a full resort destination in Porterville with a new hotel tower, 2,000-seat event center, and expanded amenities scheduled to open in 2027.

Eagle Mountain Casino relocated to Porterville in 2023, marking the beginning of a multi-phase development plan by the Tule River Tribe. The next stage of this plan - Phase 2 - is now under construction and will transform the casino into a full-service resort destination. The expansion includes a 193-room hotel tower, a 2,000-seat event center, new dining options, and a full suite of resort amenities scheduled to open in 2027.
The Tule River Indian Tribe relocated the Eagle Mountain Casino to a new location near the Porterville Municipal Airport in April 2023. The location is a 40-acre site off Highway 65, which the tribe purchased in 1990. The original casino was closed when the new Eagle Mountain Casino opened.

The eriginal Eagle Mountain Casino was located 15 miles from Porterville on reservation land off Highway 190. This casino was replaced in April 2023 by a new casino located near the Porterville Municipal Airport.
Eagle Mountain Casino was opened June 1, 1996 by the Tule River Indian Tribe of California. This early casino consisted of three manufactured trailers containing slot machines, table games and a snack bar. It was located on the Tule River Indian reservation, which was established in 1873 on 90 square miles outside of Porterville, California.
The trailers were later replaced by a 70,000 square foot casino with 1,200 slot machines, 11 table games and a bingo hall.
